It seemed to take uga several years to learn under Dooley they needed to show up for bowl games. I vaguely recall, I think it was the Sun Bowl, when Nebraska beat the pups something like 40-7. I’m going to go look that up now since I had forgotten all about these bad performances until you mentioned it.
Yeah, but we learned later that was early Devaney dynasty version Huskers. Still was very fun to watch.

He was a good man. His wife worked along side him for a long time. She passed away a while ago.

With Height not available, that’s 3 starters on defense out. Singleton gone. If we win, it will be another testament to our coaching staff’s ability to work with the pieces we have.

Well we've known that they would be out for a few weeks now. I figure they'll have a plan Diego and I'm not at all worried about the O.

I will refrain from posting these, since they are not accurate.

From the AJC article 57jacket posted.

“They had surgery right after the last game,” Key said. “We made a decision on when to do it. Both those guys had continued to play that way through the season, and it got to the point where they had nothing left in them to keep going."

Watched the pre bowl press conference today and Coach said that Kyle Efford and Rodney Shelley are both out following a post season surgery. They had apparently been playing hurt most of the year.

Is any portion of the upper deck designated to us as well? Seems odd the Vanderbilt side is 75% of the seating. A lot more tickets available at a reasonable price there.

No actual knowledge, just my understanding and belief. They originally were not going to have the upper level open during the game. GT sold a lot more tickets than expected, and Vandy sold a lot more tickets than expected. They decided to open the upper level for sale since they are apparently sold out (or close to it) on the lower level. I don't know if either team got allocations in the upper level. I assume it is just available for whoever wasn't able to get tickets and wants to go to the game.
