Heisman’s ghost stopped by and said let’s make it interesting.
But then, as "Heisman's Ghost" foretold, all McCord had to do was find his boy, his comfort blanket, the big tight end and all was well. Why, did we have single coverage on that guy? He is their best all around athlete and their go to guy. Sad.

We knew we needed to run the ball and win the time of possession to win this game today. Just got completely bullied up front. A lot of that last week too, concerning. Defense still always just too slow to get home on blitz. It’s gonna be tough to get to 6 wins this season playing like that.

The warnings were there. FSU showed they could dunk it over the middle. Georgia State also dunked it over the middle on us, we just got lucky they dropped a few. And today a true QB lit up our secondary. Not to mention we made almost no in game adjustments on defense.

One issue that is glaring that also doesn't get talked about enough is Key's questionable in-game decisions that have bit him more than once. He's always good for a few head scratchers every season.

Offensively, we look scared to throw down field. Barely done it at all so far this season. After all the hype about Haynes King and our returning production plus a few additional pieces the pass game has been less than impressive.

Overall a terrible day on both sides of the ball. Aside from the missed FG that turned out to be crucial, special teams was impressive.

Fun to be ranked for a week. It was fun. Wow. VMI next. Go Tech.
