Get in your seat>take your mask off>someone gives you ****(which they won’t)>”I’m in the middle of my beer”

Why are y’all still acting like it’s so freaking tough? Grow a pair and quit bitching about a minor inconvenience. A mask isn’t oppression or taking your freedom away. It’s common sense. Do you wear a seatbelt?

Let me know how un-oppressive it is on the Sept 19th noon game. And seatbelt wearing is a LAW with fines for violating, very different from a CYA policy.

I‘ve flown on multiple flights back to Atlanta to do some work on my rental property. It was annoying and restrictive but I had to do it, so I made the sacrifice. How bad do you want to see football? Either mask up or don’t, just quit acting as though it’s not a new norm.

There may be laws and fines for mask wearing(most likely on planes or mass transit)in the future. BUCKLE UP!

Pretty confident there will be laws and fines for mask wearing in the future. BUCKLE UP!

So, my friend, please look up because you're missing the point. Being in an airplane is not equal to being outside under the sun and heat and humidity for 4 hours in Atlanta that is always here in September and early October.

I'm not even going to address your second point.

Seat belt wearing is the law now because, very similar to masks, it's a safety device that is intended to save lives but many people refused to wear them because it was uncomfortable when driving and impeded on their freedom. To be clear, I don't think masks will ever be law, but there are plenty of safety guidelines that have to become law because people will not abide by them. Texting while driving and smoking in certain areas are just a few other examples.

While I do agree with the no texting while driving law, the devil advocate side of me says, "so why can i still eat a 3 piece and 2 side meal from KFC while driving? (which I have done)"

I can follow a law, but at the same time say it's stupid.

It is interesting when you go on the seat selection site how few seats are actually there for your specific quantity (I have 2 Season Tickets). They have spaced different quantity seats across the sections (so 2, 4, 6, 8 seats together) and skipped rows of seats. It will be interesting to see how many people might opt out once they see what seats are left when their date and time for selection comes up.

Did you read the first point in my 2nd sentence? ”it’s annoying and restrictive” That’s pretty close to being outside in the heat. You’re also touching random ppl on a plane which you won’t be at Bobby Dodd.

And again, just take it off when you’re at your seat. Find a spot with shade or a breeze. It’s not that hard to figure out.

So since Tech is doing 20% capacity, would I still be able to purchase single game tickets or are they reserved for everyone who’s already purchased season tickets? What decides who gets in and who doesn’t?

sorry if I’m late or ignorant to the situation

Wearing a mask on the plane is irrelevant, which I didn't say was a bad thing. But being pretty close to, is never the same as. and if I'm not touching people at BDS, why do I need to wear a mask at my seats? (BTW, it might do you good to read the policy before commenting, seeing as how we have to keep masks on at all times, aside from eating and drinking)

The same "medical professionals" who used a bogus computer model to predict 2 million US deaths?

Yup, just like the 'weather professionals' who use models to predict the weather, just like NCAA bracket pickers use models to make predictions... the same in every field. Models aren't perfect (especially at the start of a mostly unknown pathogen) and continually have to be revised. You would think people affiliated with GT above all other places would understand these things.

But if the air is stagnate, how will the virus come near you? And if it does come near you, rememeber that outside it is dissipated quickly, much like a fart. If I fart in BDS, only about 6 people around me will smell it. And that is without social distancing. So if a Varsity Chili dog fart is dissipated quickly, common sense is that the virus will too. So, The GTAA rules are strictly CYA. Again, if the masks work, why do we need to social distance, and if social distancing works, why do we need to wear masks? And since the people we are next to in the stadium will be from the same household/carpool, why are masks needed?

NO **** and I really wish you would quit. Smells like ***!

EXACTLY! We should be able to be naked while in BDS, especially for noon games! Clothing really increases the humidity, especially around the nether regions - I like a nice breeze around my parts. While we're at it, why do I have to wear shoes too?

/s - and that's all I have to say on this ridiculous thread that has nothing to do with season tickets . . .

I doubt that any single game tickets will be made available to the public. You can probably only get them if you know someone who is not going to a given game.

I gave my ticket account up to the "Swarm Find" awhile ago. I consider this season's ticket money a contribution to the program. No way I was going to the games and I had already budgeted the cash.

But … we can afford that. We're lucky.
