It will be interesting to see if this is the first of many or several changes on the defensive side, or if Burton and Thacker are the sacrificial lambs in order for CGC to keep Thacker. If it’s the latter, GT’s2022 defense is doomed, CGC has one year left, and TStan is probably on his way out the door.

Knight and Coleman were also signed to multi year contracts during last offseason. Coleman is one of our best recruiters, and his young guys are probably the bright spots in our dismal defense.
