Why is Benson transferring? Disappointing - two players - maybe our only two - who had made All-ACC - have left or are leaving. I was looking forward to seeing Benson last yer and broke his leg in first real game. Was sad at game in Tampa. Looking forward to him coming back, but no comeback. Why not stinking with us?

Lingering questions about the long-term effect of his injury, plus he's graduating, and he can move on immediately and even perhaps get a medical hardship waiver, thus re-gaining a year elsewhere. I HATE losing him, but it was probably a wise decision on his part.
