That seems off base to me. Suspensions are usually for violating some tie of rule.I’m going to assume Ricky took umbrage with the tone Brent was taking and had a few choice words himself.

I don't have any specifics, but I'll generally say, in high testosterone environs; if a leader dishes it out, he's usually thick skinned enough to take a little pushback in return. Of course, choice of words matter. Without insight, I'd expect this issue is related to something we didn't see on the sidelines. Mr Brumfield is our Asst HC. That's a pretty lofty title for a fellow to not be allowed to air opinions.A good time to ask this question…what’s everyone’s opinion on the head coach yelling/screaming at another coach in front of everyone? Kirby is bad about it, so was Saban, maybe that’s where Key and Kirby get it from. I’ve seen Key do this with Coleman, Thacker, and Brumfield, all of which are gone now.
I’ll be honest, I don’t care for it. I’m all for yelling at the players anytime, and coaches behind the scenes, but publicly at other coaches just seems like not a good look to me. In front of the players, other coaches, fans, recruits, parents…ooof makes me cringe everytime. Just feels like a challenging of one’s manhood or something. I’ve never liked it. I worry about players these days willingness to take coaching from a man who they just witnessed get verbally b!tchslapped around the sideline by another man. It’d be hard to take too without bowing up or talking back (I’ve seen some coaches do that). I get the head man is the superior, like he is to the players, but it’s just different. And if I was a recruit, and the guy getting screamed at was my primary recruiter…I dunno, just a tough look, especially if you don’t have Saban/Kirby results. Like that’s the whole reason the Kirby/Miss State QB thing happened. All the dwag fans were running to his defense saying he was going after the DC like that, like that makes it any better.
I’m sure many will say this is soft. Yes, it’s soft, but still cringe.
He is listed as an "Associate Head Coach for Special Teams/Cornerbacks". "Associate" is generally a lesser title than "Assistant" in the corporate world. It may have been added as justification for his salary.Mr Brumfield is our Asst HC. That's a pretty lofty title
I haven't seen suspension yet except in that one tweet. However, suspension is usually an HR issue. With the invective in the recent press conferences, it's too coincidental to be a rules violation. I'm going with insubordination if there's a suspension. That seems off base to me. Suspensions are usually for violating some tie of rule.
You are correct, bonus attribution on my part. I attribute my error to Saturday morning enthusiasm. I'm still working on coffee and GameDay prep.He is listed as an "Associate Head Coach for Special Teams/Cornerbacks". "Associate" is generally a lesser title than "Assistant" in the corporate world. Tim Salem already had a role with Special Teams, so a logical choice to coach them as an interim.
in the hoodie...Is Tim the guy with the white hat or the younger guy in the foreground?

I posted before I listened to the next question which was: "Is he still on staff?". The reply was "I said he didn't make the trip and that's all the information I have."Doesn't sound good. When asked at the post-game press conference Key said "He didn't make the trip and that's all.. that's all the information that I have"
