I talked to Quaide today...and it's not good news on the injury front with him...I won't post details on the injury as I will leave that to Tech or his brother (who posts on here)

It is a injury he suffered during the Scrimmage Saturday..He had a CT scan on it today and has a appointment tomorrow morning to find out how bad it is...

He will be out the rest of the Spring...I would say the best case he is back around the start of Fall camp...worst case is he needs surgery and is out for the year.

So much for using the spring to get ahead of the rest of the freshmen! Really sucks for Quaide, hope the tests show that he can come back in Fall and compete with MLD and Marshall for the backup BB.

Get better, Quaide. I'm sorry to hear about your injury, but hope you will heal up quickly. Yes, much football and life ahead of this young man!

Football is such a tough sport on your body, you never know which snap will be your last. How SA's go to college without the idea of a great education as an insurance policy is beyond me. At the very least, QW knows GT is committed to seeing him through to an invaluable degree whether he plays another down for us or not.

@buzz_wiser© I have not seen him, but from our talks and what I've heard unofficially he seems to be much improved from last spring as well as last fall. Has gotten quicker, faster and more agile...thanks to Coach Sisk and the S&C staff. I am really looking forward to watching him...and the rest of the team...in the spring game on the 17th.

"Weimerskirch suffered a lower-leg or foot injury in the team’s practice Saturday and was wearing a protective boot Monday. Following Monday’s practice, the ninth of the spring, coach Paul Johnson said that he would learn probably by the end of the week if the injury will last into the season. Johnson said that Weimerskirch suffered the injury stepping awkwardly as he pushed off the foot."
