Astonishing dude. Cardale "Shotgun" Jones (don't get that nickname for being a "runner") had a 2.5 ypc rate against Bama and 1.8 ypc rate against Oregon. That's not an effective running quarterback that you're trying to paint him as. He is a passing qb that would extend plays with his legs. And that's not what Jeff Sims is.
And it's not "making stuff up" as you say, it's actual facts and actually stats.
We do
not need a qb that relies on running the ball and cannot throw effectively or has a problem turning the ball over. We
do need a qb that can throw effectively and only relies on running the ball to extend plays or change of pace(ex. Cardale Jones, Harrison Bailey).
