we had several games vs them where we didn’t cross the 50 until the second half. venables absolutely owned paul johnson after 2014 and there was not a remotely competitive game

I agree but Venables owned everyone outside the playoff group during that time.

Watching this blog has been comical .
Every Johnson or Collins hater are using Clemson as a tool to remind us that we haven’t been Clemson for the past 8 years.
I’m not saying that’s what you are doing. I think you are just being honest. Honesty hurts some time.

Ultimately we will know where we stand and whether we are improved against Ole Miss, Pitt, NC and such. Sadly, UGA and Clemson are non factors for the Judgement scale. UGA is possibly capable of a 60-0 whipping on 4-5 of the teams on their schedule. Clemson will have to find a qb
and much better line play to be included in the playoffs.
