Rutherford has been posting cryptic depressed tweets and stories on social media for the past couple of weeks. I expect him to enter the portal after the bowl game

Besides this being a reshaping of everyone's roster, schools have to through this again between April 15th and April 30th. I get why Saban didn't want to go through this aggravation. 2 signing periods and 2 transfer portal periods. And then trying to coach a constantly changing roster.

The good news though is that if a HC is not happy with the roster after the season or after Spring camp, he has a chance to improve it

After Rivers committed to us, he immediately put pressure on Patterson to come to GT. This is the big body WR everyone wanted.

They competion at practice - king and his posse verses philo and his posse - lots of smack talk .

Our wr room just added grad studdnts to teach the young guns.

Key is building out the offense.

Don't sleep on our RBs. Outside of JH, they were young. Offense was a top 25 offense, and I expect another leap next season. It's going to be FUN offense to watch...reminds me a lot of the Friedgen offense that puts pressure on you vertically, horizontally, and in your face.

I don’t know Malik personally, I’m not good at interpreting cryptic tweets, and realize that his message may have nothing to do with football, but my gold colored glasses tell me that it’s about Singleton (you know, the guy who took a knee against Miami) and he’s heading back to Tech.

To me Malik always felt like part of Key’s “core” guys, along with Lamiles, Jamal & Haynes, and then Zeek. Felt like those were his guys who led the locker room, kinda surprised to see this - but he did post “last game at bobby dodd” prior to NC state

Not smart. I love Rutherford even more so than I did Singleton but he has to be in the right system. I hope he doesn’t end up like Nate…

It’ll be pretty fun to at least see guys get a chance to step up, I think Penson/Allen will get a real chance to contribute as freshmen next year (assuming penson is allowed to go both ways like they’ve alluded to).

IMO a condition of being honored with wearing number 8 should be no transfers allowed....DT stuck it out at Tech, they should too...
