If I had a degree from somewhere like a Princeton and was a FB player in the Ivy league, had the chance to possibly be a starter at a power 4 school and maybe out of that even a chance at the pros taking the best power 4 available even if it were a WVA just to see, only one year, maybe two in my early 20s, go for it.

Right. These are 21-23 yr olds who already have an Ivy degree. Some may not even plan to finish the grad degree. It’s a football decision to see what happens. Additionally they probably focused a lot on school at the Ivies. This is a paid for year (especially with NIL) to barely do school, play a fun game and do whatever if they know NFL isn’t in the picture
