hahaha you probably have heard Panda by Desiigner and Quavo is 1/3 of the rap group Migos(who are partially responsible for the creation of the dab). If you look them up and listen to their songs, Quavo will let you know about 20 times that it's his turn on a verse.

Fair point, but I am curious to what you think is bad about it? I don't see how having GT in some lyrics that every recruit will be singing or watching on TV is a bad thing. For better or worse rappers are who young kids look up to and try to copy. Seems to be working well for Drake and Kentucky

Having them promote the program is great. But they also need to be limited in their involvement with the program. I think that's where the line is drawn. These guys have a lot of money and can open these young men up to certain influences that could potentially cause problems for the program.

Exactly, they can come to games and rock some gear without taking the players out to clubs and getting in trouble

Actually some of the rappers were involved from what I saw from one of those 30 ESPN stories on Miami. Giving cash & other things for good performances to football players. Lot of other boosters involved too tho.

Ludacris is a GSU grad with a master's degree. He was on the sidelines of GT football games at least twice while I was at GT (04-08) decked out in GT and braves gear. The world didn't end. You guys are acting like Pastner was meeting with Pablo Escobar and giving him the keys to tech tower. Literally nothing bad can come out of Ludacris repping GT. He already has "That's why I keep my Georgia tech in the state of - Georgia" - Georgia by Field Mob feat. Ludacris

TI has been on the sidelines and Outkast as well. Nothing happened. Keep it up and get the GT name out there any way possible. Hell, GNR and Metallica can rock GT gear too. Just get the brand out there and make the school "cool" again. In the early 90's you'd see GT hats on rappers like Tribe Called Quest (Phife Dog) and Cuba Gooding he wore a GT hat in Boyz n the Hood. Right now the GT brand is dead in the 30 and under age group outside of GA. Time to bring it back.
