Most likely it's because he is regarded as a competent DC and Mack will keep him in check on the sidelines. Lots of OCs and DCs fail as HCs and return to the sidelines again as coordinators. This is not unusual.

He said that when they interviewed TFG, he was well prepared and hað reviewed lots of film. Suddes is also on staff at UNC and probably helped with a recommendation. The "knocked it out of the park" interview supposedly got him the job. Mack didn't mention what kind of car he also bought.

If you go back in time and listen to Stansbury recall his interview with Collins for our HFB job, it's eerily similar to what Mack said about his interview with Collins. Bad sign for UNC?

Christian Leary is a speedster, too. We have serious speed on this team now. Our O could be Ralph Friedgen good this season.

I thought it was kind of funny when Chase said that GT had brought in some WRs from the portal, too, helping prompt the position switch for Jamal considering he was one of those WRs. Funny in a good way. I enjoyed the episode and I love the idea of the series because it helps make the team and the sport relatable for fans. That's a real communication skill when you can make something you do relatable to the lay person.
