That’s an improved look for the wahoos.
It's hard not to improve it, although their color set is bad to begin with. This is the best I could imagine doing with it, but the colors look wrong. Way too close to Auburn.
For the Alcorn State game GT could always wear throwback uniforms honoring the 9-2 1946 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. They would wear blue helmets, blue jerseys and white pants
Could be worse, it could be navy blue jerseys with bubble wrap sleeves and chicken wire helmets. But we'd never to that...
Certainly one of the butt-ugliest uniforms ever, and it's not because of the blue.Could be worse, it could be navy blue jerseys with bubble wrap sleeves and chicken wire helmets. But we'd never to that...
What’s crazy is I had a lot of people here in Michigan tell me they liked the honeycomb look. A few thought it was really good.
Cold weather can affect your mind. not yours but theirs. What’s crazy is I had a lot of people here in Michigan tell me they liked the honeycomb look. A few thought it was really good.
This was the last straw with Russel as far as I’m concerned, I remember the late hit by Attouchou was the second stupidest decision made that day we rolled these designs out.Certainly one of the butt-ugliest uniforms ever, and it's not because of the blue.

I’ve always been a fan of the honeycomb look myself...thought it was a cool branding idea that we could own. I liked it more on the helmet than the jerseys, and also thought it’d make an interesting, unique end zone design. I’d kind of like to see what the graphics designers at Adidas could come up with incorporating it.
Throw it back in the dumpster.I agree with this as a concept, but the bubble wrap on the jerseys was just apparently not thought out (or tested). It sucked, and we kept it for so long that it may even return as a throwback !!!

The reason we kept wearing them is because the players love em. Any fans who don't want the players happy are objectively wrong.I’ve always been a fan of the honeycomb look myself...thought it was a cool branding idea that we could own.
