There will be limited merchandising for sale, featuring the new “Tech gold,” shade that the athletic department will use for uniforms. The color, provided by new apparel provider Adidas, will be revealed before the game.

The GA TECH Institute of Comm Website has Tech Gold listed in branding.. Not sure if that has always been there and it probably isn't the same thing.

I grabbed a screenshot of the board. It came out fuzzy.

If anyone got an email today from GT Athletics I would bet that the gold in that email is the new gold.

Fan bases can be grown, and a NC would definitely be a starter. Beating the mutts at least 50-50 would be an even better starter though.

I think getting the men’s basketball program going is a bigger deal. Aside from last year’s NIT, they haven’t been in postseason discussions for a while. Fix that, and I think apparel sales will follow.
Maybe that will help the look in too.
