Made this last night. Hope we can get a good crowd despite the current state of the program. I'll be cheering for Notre Dame tonight against UVA in hopes of getting a top 10 team in the building on Wednesday

Just a reminder that the Football team will be honored tomorrow tonight.

Recent results speak for themselves, but I will be extremely surprised if we do not see our best game of the season tomorrow night. 0-3 in the conference, out-performed in areas that we should win (rebounding) in our last game, people doubting them.. combine that with what I suspect will be a good crowd with the football team being honored, and I think that we see our guys play to their potential.

I'm not saying that we win, after the scare in their house they will be ready to play, but I suspect that we are in it late with a chance to win it. This is a good opportunity for them to try and salvage what could have been a good season. Our guys have played hard and lost some tough ones, I would like to see them taste a little success.

Only thing I'd bet is that ND shoots better than 21.1% from deep this time.

So far the line remains at ND by 4.

So far, the only media outlet reporting this is the Fox station in Elkhart, IN. I would hold the excitement until we hear from somewhere else.

Posting from phone, but now being widely reported. They'll have some younger post players step in, which gives me some hope.

After thinking about it further, I was afraid it could be another Dayton or Marquette game, but if they have post players, we should be able to match up.

"Notre Dame junior Zach Auguste will not play Wednesday night at Georgia Tech and now has an uncertain future with the men's basketball team because of an undisclosed off-the-court issue, a source confirmed to CBSSports.com early Wednesday. Coach Mike Brey is expected to address the situation later."

Just speculating:

ESPN is saying it's academic. Yesterday was the first day of classes at ND and some schools require attendance at the first day of class.

It's really hard to have an honor code violation on the first day, so that is doubtful. We will likely here something before the game tonight. But, the timing is unusual.
