And the dropped running back was told, according to his brother, that the drop was due in part to awarding a scholly to the kicker. I find it very hard to believe they just made that up. And it's a lot of smoke hinting at fire of slimey lies being told by Smart to multiple players / families. Hugely shocking to all here I know

The kicker’s just being used as a scapegoat. It’s 100% because of Chubb and Michel being back. If Rodrigo gets a scholarship it’s only because they lose some players before the season and have an extra. They didn’t drop a talented RB to make room for a walk-on kicker.

That's what they told the dropped RB's family though, thus the problem.
