New Uniforms Revealed

After spending some time with it and comparing to past uniforms I've decided I really do like the new uniforms.

The designers did a good job restraining themselves from overstating what's new and different. Rather, the new things are simply accents. The overall gestault is clean and classic. Love them or hate them, I do think they met the design objectives as stated.

Of course, we'll see how they look on TV on gameday. I am guessing they will look pretty good.

Home team normally wears dark colored uniform though, which would keep us from wearing gold or blue when away.

Probably true.

Not "probably", but assuredly. Unless you get prior approval from a home team (usually before season starts) to wear something other than white, the visiting team has to wear white. What irks me is that we would not have to wear white pants.....that is a choice.

Haha, you beat me to it! I was searching for this gif before getting distracted by the beach and putting the phone down.
Fun fact: I’m sitting by a lake just down the road from Yosemite and it’s smoky as all hell. It’s a little unnerving being surrounded by forest and smelling the fire, but I wasn’t about to cancel a vacation planned a couple months ago.

I got us in a tie with Nebraska, and NC state (minus their pants) although the fact that I like our colors more might give us a leg up.

Man... after seeing them all next to each other like that, I'm really not overly impressed with Adidas... all the jerseys are the same, just switching colors. All the logos in similar spots. Generic Jersey with bold numbering and a tiny logo in the middle. Hell, they made one template and produced it for everyone.

Literally all the teams have about one thing making them different is their colors. Other than that it's all relative. Give me something the college world hasnt seen before. I want tech to be all over espn because Adidas sunk millions into making a list of unis. Make tech the mecca of Adidas gear. Otherwise, generic. Same as Nebraska and Rutgers and miami. Just white, gold, and navy.

So the Official adidas US Football page liked my tweet about a having Gold Home Jersey over a navy one. I was replying to a tweet about the 1990 uniforms and adidas was tagged in the post , @Ibeeballin leaked the home whites when he saw them in lockeroom. Nothing official but I’d love to see a Gold alternate.

I have a vision of what we can make this program. We should focus on getting back to the dominance of the Heisman and Dodd days. Anything short is failure.
