I don’t know about y’all but im stoked to open up against FSU. Two struggling teams trying to find some stability. Should be interesting. We have at least one year under our belts with CGC.

FSU’s offense may struggle to get going and our defense should be more stout. Hopefully our stud playmakers and talented freshman can do enough to get us some points.

Also, it feels amazing to be typing these sentences about football. This offseason has been the longest ever and I’m hoping our season can happen.
Go Jackets. THWg.

Syracuse was better than us last year, but they were not that good last season. We need to win against Syracuse.
Syracuse has been better than us for 2 years running. In 2018 they won 10 games and almost knocked off Clemson in Death Valley. 2nd best team in ACC that year.

How can we, or anybody, go to Syracuse? Doesn't NY require a 2 week quarantine on anybody coming into their state? And WTH have a Friday night game? The high schools will have enough problems of their own without a college game interfering with them. Plus, why do we even need a Friday night game?
If there is a season, they're expecting to work it out. As you would expect, there's been a lot of chatter about that by Syracuse fans. Here's one of the more recent articles https://www.syracuse.com/orangefoot...dule-they-should-be-able-to-do-it-safely.html
Gov. Andrew Cuomo said today if Syracuse University and its football opponents can do quick coronavirus testing this fall, then travel to and from states with rising caseloads should not be a problem.

The governor indicated that if the schools’ testing systems worked well, then players might not have to abide by a 14-day quarantine required for people returning to New York from states with rising virus caseloads.

So this means it won't be handled by the ACC. It's up to individual teams. Florida is one of the worst states in the union with handling Covid. Id suspect we have fans at Bobby Dodd. Especially since Kemp just made it harder for people to sue businesses over Covid.

And Pitt at home again
Oh right. Huh? Is it that hard for the ACC not to schedule us playing teams at our stadium two years in a row, and us at Miami two years in a row? You would think it would be an easy thing, but what do I know?
