The people in charge and/or money people behind the scenes were NEver going to hire another option coach, so thats really not even worth thinking about.
That doesn't make what I said any less true.

I can’t believe how butt-hurt everyone is about this ATL stuff, do yall actually think this is the problem with our team?

Take it easy gents! This is a clear case of Talent vs. Scheme. While I am as disappointed as everyone else with the outcome, this was the exact reason why CPJ ran the TO. It is the ultimate equalizer. We just got Johnson’d. It is also a clear sign our talent is not yet able to over come a better scheme. CGC needs more line talent to execute his scheme. I hate to admit it, but we will be a .500 team for the next two years. Hang your hat on 2021. Patience is tough, but remember Saban and Smart went through something similar.
Jemea Thomas was like that . Wasn't quite fast enough or fluid enough to play corner, too small to play safety, didn't have the "measureables" (sic) to play linebacker or running back, went to a small south Georgia school, so on and so forth until the actual playing started and damn the man could play ball. You can win a lot of games with guys like him, Shaq Mason, Parker Braun, and others who just make plays.Actually Swinney just graduated a three-year walk-on starter who was barely a 3-star and he didn't even recruit. Too small, too slow, too something. Until the play started.
Just because he is going to be a fixture for several years doesn't mean he is above criticism. Especially after the past two games.
I love seeing all the analogies of this staff against being like previous Tech coaches. Guess what, previous actions have zero bearing on current results. From what I have seen our O Coordinator has no clue.
I watched O Leary rebuild with Huxtable - It was bad but not WTF was that bad
Watched Ross re build with a locker room in revolt...It was Chernobyl -esque ...it wasn't this bad
Dodd hated it because he much preferred having specialists on offense rather than one platoon football that emphasized toughness, conditioning, and playing defense. There is also a reason that teams don't haveplayets go both ways anymore as well.
It was interesting.....even playing H.S. ball.....to see how players gravitate to one side or the other. The O definitely had the better students.Dodd hated it because he much preferred having specialists on offense rather than one platoon football that emphasized toughness, conditioning, and playing defense.
Just read where cgc is going to keep subbing QB's!! Some coach or coaches needs to be GONE!!!!!!

I don't think it is good at all. The best player in the position to lead to a win should be playing (unless there is unnecessary risk like having your QB return KOs) You earn the right to play by being the best. It should not be about awarding participation playing time because you were a good boy in practice.I don't care for it but I don't think it matters a whole lot and it might do the players some good EXCEPT quarterback and kickers. The team needs to know who is in charge and the quarterbacks need to understand their role. I still believe he needs to pick one and tailor the offense to that guy. If we are going to throw the ball in the classic spread look play Lucas, if we are going to put our best athlete and do what he does best play TO, if you want a true dual threat guy play James but for the love of God pick one so everybody on the team knows who the MAN is going to be.
Whateth you speaketh?I readed it. I not understandedeth.
