This is exactly what I've been saying, increasing support to staff to broaden our targeting in recruiting with more focus on fit. It does us no good to spend resources far from home if the odds are not greatly in our favor of getting a signee. Wish we were going with an IPTAY clone to pay for it, however.

I think that this is a great step in the right direction and I am going to contribute starting today.

However, I would recommend a serious redesign on the webpage where you make the contribution. Although you are presumably dealing with smart GT types, that page doesnt clearly direct you to where they want the money to go.

Is there a reason this has to share the AT page with scholarship funding? Seems to me a separate page with an explanation like in the letter would make more sense.

Yes! We are finally making the right investments to keep up. Maybe we can move up from 61st in spending to at least the middle of the pack in the next few years.
