Record number of lower seeded teams advanced (which seems right for this season)
8 seeded 11th or lower
10 seeded 10th or lower
13 seeded 9th or lower.
PAC12 had the Big 12 like start going 2-5, with all 5 losses being teams seeded 8th or better.
B12 was about its norm, going 3-4 with all 4 losses by teams seeded 8th or better.

Peac - I actually don't think it's that close. I'm not big on Brey as he never made noise in the Big East. And maybe I'm higher on Beilein than I should be. Credit to ND last night - completely different team in the 2nd half.
