ACC was easily the best conference last year going 17-5 (Big 10 was second at 12-7). Also, the money accrues over 6 yrs, so if you have multiple years where you have multiple teams making deep runs it can be alot of money for the conference and its schools.

Next year I plan to ignore W/L records and RPI when completing my bracket. Maybe uniform color or # of Chinese physics profs is a better indicator.

unless i miscalculated heh ... we are 11-1 in the first two rounds this year. so far the acc is the class of the tourney with 6 teams in the top 16 and this is without lousiville
