WelcomeIs that what it was? Or did the SEC need the higher profile team to win?

Disbelief Reaction GIF

Hey, we've seen SEC refs first hand. I now believe all conspiracy theories related to that league fixing games.

Any player that shows eliteness at GT will probably leave for NIL money their junior/senior year. This is just the NIL landscape. People should accept it for what it is now. We would need a lot of cash to even be average in CFB right now.

Yeah don't wanna be doom and gloom here but damnnnnn dude. I'm starting to wonder if I should just accept we will never have a pass rush until the end of time.

This has been an issue since I've followed tech football which is 2008.

Kyle Kennard, Jared Ivey, Akelo Stone, Eddie Kelly, Demetrius Knight. All starting or playing a ton for SEC teams.
That extra covid year created 6 year players and grad school opportunity. Throw NIL in with the very liberal transfer portal plus no NCAA oversight, what else should we expect.

Wrong. We lost those guys because our NIL program was not up and running at that time. Once again, GT was slow to react to a changing landscape. We now have a viable NIL system. Now, sure, we could lose any player at any time just like we lost Leary last week. But to make a blanket statement like you did isn’t being true to the time. South Carolina had their NIL program ready to go while GT did not so the player took the money offered. GT will be able to hold on to more guys now. The problem is we’ll never really know who we were able to keep but we’ll always see the guys we lose.

Now, if we lose Singleton next year I’ll agree with your statement.

MY WIFES KEEPERS THAT HAVE LEFT and HER REASONING Ivey was her favorite before he looked good due to his joy after making a stop. Then she liked Kyle. Now she likes #2 because he dropped some passe last year. She loves to see him make a catch. FROM your list My favorite by far is D KNIGHT = he was a athlete at end under Johnson who had injuries and was cast off by TFP has no place for him. He could have been a big rb like mason to protect the qb, block for other back in an I formation or special team.
short yards instead or running qb

MY CAREER To keep my good project managers - i had to make work rewarding = KEEPERS want challenging assignments, on time support, management letting them sine inf key times and off course bonuses.
You know you are doing a good job was a manger when the Keepers don't even take the competitor's call. They want to be tested and seen to overcome, a notch on their sword. In the most important time will you call their number.

College is coming into the dog eat dog world where very irrational athletes can be tempted to take the call.

We've become an incubator for other teams defenses. Loses those guys on DL hurts, as we would actually be pretty deep there if those guys had stayed. Demetrius Knight would have also helped...our LBs are struggling in space.

On the other side of that, GT has also been the beneficiary of transfers as well. Haynes King, Makius Scott, Romello Height, Ahmari Harvey...among others, are some of our starters that have transferred in.

Key better build that culture of toughness during players’ freshman years so we get some benefit from it.
