No one wants to cram make-up games in the week before the ACC tourney and burn out pitchers.
Based on (recent) previous seasons, I do not think the ACC does anything to makeup conference games. There simply is no opportunity to do that. The final weekend series is played Thur-Sat and the ACC Tournament begins on the following Tuesday. They do all they can during the particular scheduled series weekend by adjusting schedules in light of forecast weather to make sure all 3 games are played... see this weekend's schedule for the VT series (they are trying... but it may be futile).
Last year, only 6 teams managed to complete all 30 conference games. FSU played the fewest (26).
The conference standings... and therefore, tournament seedings are based on winning percentage. Which gets me to the importance of our 11:00 game today. The Blacksburg weather appears to be bad enough that this 1st game "may" be the only game played in Blacksburg this weekend. Now... forgive me for doing a lot of "ifs" here... but, if we do only play VT once, it could end up being a "play-in" game for the tournament. BECAUSE... if we end up with the same winning percentage as VT AND we're tied for 12th in the conference standings... the 1st tiebreaker is head to head. GO JACKETS!! WIN THIS NEXT ONE (my new 2017 motto).
