If we're ignoring morals, I'll take Hugh Freeze over Petrino all day longGuy's a darn good coach. That thing at Arkansas is one for the morality police.

No on Gattis... there is a reason Michigan let him walkNames that I've seen/heard on various sites:
Deion Sanders- Jackson State HC
Shawn Clark- App State HC
Todd Monken- UGAg OC
Tyson Helton- Western Kentucky HC
Jamey Chadwell- Coastal Carolina HC
Lance Leipold- Kansas HC (His OC Andy Kotelnicki also mentioned)
Dan Mullen- Nowhere at the moment
Bill O'Brien- Bama OC
Al Golden- ND DC
Jeff Grimes- Baylor OC
Army and Air Force coaches (Triple Option guys)
Sean Lewis- Kent State HC
Brian Hartline- Ohio State Receiver Coach/PGC
Doug Belk- Houston DC
Alex Golesh- Tennessee OC
Alex Atkins- FSU OC
Willie Fritz- Tulane HC
Josh Gattis- Miami HC
Tom Herman- Nowhere at the moment
Sure, just wishful thinking that this might be a wake-up call for the hill to get for real about football. Doubt it tho.If we can't get Deion without that, it's a no go. I mean that's obviously not happening.
Al golden is insane. Please god no.No on Gattis... there is a reason Michigan let him walk
Nick Saban, Les Miles, Urban MeyerAs long as we are including completely unrealistic hires, let's go with
Bill Belichick
Bill Parcells
Brian Kelley
Dabo Swinney
John Heisman

If the only reason a person is listed, is due to Tech connections, then maybe it's not a good person to look at. I loved Godsey when he played, but nothing he has done in coaching should warrant people wanting him every time we have an opening. We need to stop hiring former GT people. We are burning bridges like never before.
He’s stayed in a league that chews coaches out for almost two decades now. The idea that he hasn’t had a good coaching career is crazy. If the only reason a person is listed, is due to Tech connections, then maybe it's not a good person to look at. *Groans with the force of a thousand suns*Bring George Godsey back to the flats.
Like the Bill Clark call but I think he is sick and had to step down this yearSome more names the fellas at FTRS have said they are interested in:

I guess, but he’s going on his second decade as a coach in the NFL when half of the list above has a bunch of guys who couldn’t hack it in the NFL and ended up back in the college game.*Groans with the force of a thousand suns*
He has been a position coach almost exclusively and never a coordinator for more than a year... Sure, he's had a better coaching career then me, but I don't think it's something that would warrant a look as the HC here at Tech. He’s stayed in a league that chews coaches out for almost two decades now. The idea that he hasn’t had a good coaching career is crazy.
