Maybe I missed the news when it happened, but I noticed this morning that Travis Jorgenson is no longer listed on the GT roster at ramblinwreck.com.

I suspect they were just waiting for him to make up his mind one way or the other. Been hinted at for some time.

This doesn't make any sense. Quinlan said Jorgy was probably gone.

If true, that increases the likelihood of Heyward coming back. I would have guess that he may have been 'asked' to give up his scholarship, if needed this year.

All the best to TJ with his future. Too bad he got injured so early in his career here as he never seemed to recover from that.

I may be wrong, but I will be surprised if he ever plays college hoops again. He always seemed like a player with nothing but potential. To me, the absence of any "now" was evident from the start. He lacked quickness, so he was never a good defender, and his terrible shooting form worked in high school but was such a limiting trait that he was often rushing his shot just to get it over a defender. He has some skills on offense, but a PG without a scoring threat is useless in today's game.

While this falls into the "makes sense" category, it's still a pit in the stomach when you realize he would have been our 7th or 8th best player, and what that means for our eyeballs next year. We should all establish some type of "wtf" threshold for what's about to occur on the court... should be a fun preseason thread.

Glad he's on pace to graduate. I'm sure he's most disappointed with how things shook out. He seemed to try to fight through and was a good teammate despite the gradual degradation of his health and minutes.

Does this man I can't justify dropping F-bombs in the live chat?

Actually I meant it more like, what's it going to take for you to reach your tipping point, knowing the expectations going in? Because it's going to happen.

How deliriously you react is just an uncontrollable byproduct. And probably good enough for a GT fan mix-tape.
