I’m on a Delta flight to Nashville with Paul Hewitt. Anybody want me to buy him a drink, throw a drink at him, or get him drunk and see if I can get some old recruiting stories out of him?

I don't like how let up after the new contract. But, I think everyone should get the best deal they can for themselves.

He lost his best assistants. Hewitt could get talent; I don’t just blame the ADs for the contract, but also for not adequately replacing the coaches he lost.
Ideally, Hewitt would do that, but you can’t let a problem like that fester

I was in the Delta sky club Monday with The Nature Boy, Ric Flair. He took care of the drink part himself.

As this decade comes to a close, I’m still hoping this will be our first winning season in ACC play(don’t think Vegas has odds on this one, however I don’t recommend playing if they did):
2010-11 Hewitt 13–18; 5–11, T-10th
Brian Gregory (ACC) (2011–2016)
2011–12 Gregory 11–20; 4–12, T-11th
2012–13 Gregory 16–15; 6–12, T-9th
2013–14 Gregory 16–17; 6–12, T-11th
2014–15 Gregory 12–19; 3–15, 14th
2015–16 Gregory 21–15; 8–10, T-11th NIT Quarterfinals
Josh Pastner (ACC) (2016–present)
2016–17 Pastner 21–16; 8–10 11th, NIT Finalist
2017–18 Pastner 13–19; 6–12, 13th
2018–19 Pastner 14–18; 6–12, 10th

It gets even more depressing if you go back any farther. Only one season above .500 in conference play since Cremins retired.

That's so depressing. Not that we ever had many winning acc records but we used to be good enough to make the dance & make some noise.
