The Chiefs knew exactly where it was going every time, behind the left guard.

Yeah that was weird. Broadcast called it out too. At some point, don'tcha gotta pump fake it or ... somethin'?

Especially considering they were not getting a favorable spot if it was close but I've said too much ....

Wonder what the story with Errin Joe is. Can't find anything on social media, and he hasn't changed his Bio on Twitter yet. Still saying he's with GT.

Joe has been here since the CPJ days as a player and grad assistant with a short stint at 'Bama before returning here under Collins.

Reportedly we were after Alex Mathis to bolster our staff in SE Georgia. Mathis is from Waycross, went to Ga Southern, and prior to UCF was a HS coach in Brunswick.

Doesn't explain what prompted a replacement of Errin Joe. I thought our recruiting was in a good place already. Who knows

Sad to see Irin Joe go as he is a true tech man. Sounds like Key will get expirence replacment from ucf- Alex Mathis . He will help recruiting in SE ga. Any idea of his athletic career. Irin Joe in 2014 Orange bowl was a classic.

Key is building a robust coaching staff that will attract athletic talent.

Based on comments on a pay site, this is a home run hire for recruiting in S. Ga.

And yes, our recruiting has seen an uptick already. Top-20 is good enough to compete with the mid-ACC teams and possibly get to Charlotte, but Key has his sights on bigger things.

Top 20 got us the 2nd place recruiting class in the ACC this year. Do that consistently and we ARE the high level ACC team

I looked it up--the DBs got TWO intsThat's it.We might just be a bit short on speed or at least acceleration. Harris and Penson can't get here soon enough it seems.
Also, I think we tied for LAST in the conf in getting TOs. btw--We got the dook DEF coach but the players stayed there because they were near the top again.

Word on the street confirms this situation is Key firing Errin Joe, not Joe leaving and Key backfilling. Reportedly Joe has heard from a couple SEC schools so hopefully he will land somewhere soon.

It was 2nd as of signing day, but either FSU or UM (I can't recall which one) snuck past us recently with some late additions.
I think it was FSU since it seemed Miami had been out in front since the beginning.
What's interesting is that we finished ranked ahead of Clemson, despite Clemson saying they are focused on high school recruiting rather than transfers, and traditionally being the leader in recruiting in recent years.

It's because Clemson only took 15 commits. Their average per recruit was higher than us but they didn't recruit a full class because they don't process as many of their guys out.
