It's because Clemson only took 15 commits. Their average per recruit was higher than us but they didn't recruit a full class because they don't process as many of their guys out.

Agree, but per 247, Clemson got the same number of 4-stars as GT (6), the difference being that we took an additional 11 3-stars which lowered our average per recruit. This contrasts with 2024 when Clemson got 2 5-stars and 10 4-stars.
Between 2024 and '25, our average per recruit increased while Clemson's dropped. We haven't caught up with them in this metric (yet) but are closing ground.

Conversely, Miami has been on a tear since Mario arrived, and I doubt we'll ever catch them in recruiting. Fortunately for us, we've been able to outplay and outcoach them.
