Cubaj is walking around post game... That's GOOD
Lorela Cubaj’s return paying off for GA Tech and her WNBA Draft stock
Lorela Cubaj’s decision to return to Georgia Tech for a fifth season was an impactful one. Months later, the 2021 ACC Defensive Player of the Year’s role on the Yellow Jackets has increased immensely, and it’s hard to imagine where the program would currently be without her.www.swishappeal.com
My guess is Jason Varitek.Trivia question - which GT student athlete turned down a first round draft offer to return to GT?
Nice win.

She was walking around on he own post game and talking with fans in the crowd. Is Lorella Cubaj ok?
So you're saying that Catcher is a "low injury risk" position???Yup. Ballsy move by Varitek. And he did pretty well for himself.
I think if you are in a low injury risk position, you can turn down higher draft offers as long as you have 2 years of eligibility left.

If I recall correctly it was a combination of not wanting to play for the Mariners and the amount of their offer.Compared to pitcher, yes. Compared to OF, no.
But it worked out. Anyone know why VarItek didn't go?

Great replay of (one of) Cubaj's blocks:
And nice additional pressure by Hermosa
