We're GT, we can do that!

This is so funny to me bc i felt like this happened a few times especially in my Operations Mgt class, one of the few classes where Engineers & Business intersect. This so called hotshot who used to work for Exxon made his course EXTREMELY HARD. Where the highest grade on exam was a 64. I never missed a day, tutoring twice a day, thorough notes, met with the prof After class only to get a 17 on my exam.

Bryan Chamberlain ot) said his disadvantaged youth home in Albany has started up.

Doesn't have govt grants yet so holding down 2 jobs to keep it funded.

Tech men take many paths after they get out. After Tech its easy to be a difference maker.

I had a physics course at Tech in the early 70s where I had the highest grade in the class - a 16. Probably everyone on this board has a similar story or two to tell!

Physics class with Prof. Samford, Spring '82... 69.92 average = D. No rounding or partial credit in his class.

I was in the middle quintile of the class.

Honest to goodness, we must of had the same class. But I thought mine was in 1970.

This is the perfect example of the saying "if you can't do it, then teach it".

This was the perfect example of some nerd azz, self entitled, so called professor sapping a living off taxpayers. That clown could not cut it in the real world, so he tried that weak azz power play in the classroom.

Yeah, that crap really helped GT and it's students.

A question that to a non-GT guy sounds logical but perhaps in the Tech world not so much: if the professor was routinely handing out grade like that, where was the dean? Because clearly the prof was not in front of the class to teach it.
