I had the good fortune to sit next to Tim Seager's parents at the opening game at BDS in 2013. Very nice folks. They are from the Blacksburg area and Tim had hoped to walk on at VT. The coaches there did not think he was a fit for their program, even as a walk on, and Tim looked elsewhere for the academics and walk on opportunity. GT was the right fit for the academics and apparently CPJ readily welcomed a 300 lb walk on O lineman. Tim's father was very complimentary of GT in general and CPJ in particular. He was especially pleased with how well walk on players and their families are treated at GT (basically treated like the scholly players). After that I really enjoyed following Tim in the program. He exemplifies our 40 year plan for our players.
