Kind of sounds like me on a multiple choice test , the answer is either B or D I'll pick C to play it safe.

I have a hard time seeing us and the opposing team wanting to play in a bowl game and then turn around and play in week 2 or 3 if next season. Like USF or Temple.

Let's not forget VPI is far from a sure bet to beat a pretty good Marshall team. They blew out Old Dominion, who beat the Hokies. Can't pencil them in just yet. Marshall will want to prove they aren't there to help out Virginia Tech, but to get a signature win over a P5 opponent.

Scanning last 50+ posts on thread... probably missed some important nonsense; but 2 comments:
1) ALWAYS pull for VT to lose. ESPECIALLY this weekend. Go Thundering Herd! Kill the VT bowl streak that is only still alive but for 4-5 miracle plays lined up in a row at end of UVA v VT last Sat.
2) I assume TStan can walk & chew gum at same time. But if he can't.... his primary job this weekend is to keep UGA out of the playoffs. [We're in a bowl game at 7-5. Very respectable... given a 1-3 start. Who/Where we play will be suitable. ...& we WILL WIN going away... you heard it here, first... unless some other poster already said that (?)]

I think there was supposed to be about bowl listen there. The Camping World Bowl can only choose between Syracuse and NCSU barring ND getting booted from the top 4 or Pitt beating Clemson.

Stewart Mandel on the Athletic has us playing UCF in the Gasparilla Bowl. I'm not real keen on that one.
