Was reading earlier today....Camp bowl was taking NCST unless the could match Cuse against WV . Since OU won, that won't happen. Cuse and Pitt will take two of the four Tier on spots..that leave BC, Duke, Tech, Miami, and UVA likely for the other two. Then throw in VT and WF to the mix for the Tier II

NCSU, Cuse, and Pitt all get tier 1. Fight is for the fourth spot. UVA-VT-GT-Duke-Miami are all fighting for that spot, and an argument can be made for every team

Well, if those four other teams fighting for the fourth Tier I Bowl, we beat three of ‘em (VT, Miami, and UVA). By that evidence, we’ve earned that spot!!!!

No, the Camp bowl gets the first selection before the 4 tier ones.....They have indicated they would take NCST unless they could match up Cuse and WV

other teams have more wins over bowl elgible teams, so they have earned that right over GT. Every team has an argument for that fourth spot. End of the day, bowls decide it, not the confrence, and h2h don't mean sh*t. Only total # of wins, and how impressive you were. Every team in that list was either ranked oat some point or had more bowl elgible wins.

That offense Memphis runs and the beast of a running back they have will be a struggle for us. Especially the tempo they run it with. Nothing good about playing a G5 team in a bowl. They’re gonna want to ball out vs a P5 team, while a P5 team playing before Christmas is usually there for the bowl swag..... And I can’t imagine the swag at the Birmingham Bowl being that great.

that is correct. Still 2 slots, but they will either be NCSU or Cuse based off record. Pitt might backdoor into it as well as 8 wins is also elgible for it

Fake News.
VT, UVA, and Miami didn’t play Clemson or Georgia. Had we been able to play Liberty and FSU or Wake we might be a 9-win team. Either the ACC standings matter or they don’t. Why even keep score in games?
