You’re right, I guess all the talk about culture, 404, biGTime, and inviting Jeezy to practice wasn’t an attempt to accomplish anything. Carry on.
Real question here... what was the failure? It seems to me the purpose of having Jeezy out to practice, specifically, was to excite the players and show that there’s something different than before at GT (please don’t construe that as my being critical of our previous coaches as it isn’t meant to be). And I think that was a success. I don’t think the thought process was about having it be only GT but rather that GT has cool stuff. Of course I’m sure the coaches would have preferred it only be GT that Jeezy showed up for but I doubt they even considered what ELSE he does to be an issue.
As for the other branding stuff I think we have to wait and see how effective or ineffective it is.
