Does Coach Collins keep score for what’s going on on the field? Because that hasn’t been pretty.
Cool hypothetical non existent story bruh. The fact is we’re not having this conversation if it were a Herbstreit type. I’m sorry Collins hurt you, I genuinely am.But what if Marty was a hater? You can’t say “hell yeah f*ck the haters!!!....unless their the establishment, then kiss their ***” which is exactly what you’re implying and is incredibly lame.
I guess they’re elite too then. We are lucky to have all these elite DB’sSwilling and Walton are both better corners, but I would like to see him get snaps at safety/nickel.
I'm assuming you aren't going to watch Saturday since it's clear the game will make you miserable? Either GT loses again to a top 3 team or you have to suffer through the agony of Collins getting a big win. Neither seems to be a good option for youDoes Coach Collins keep score for what’s going on on the field? Because that hasn’t been pretty.

Do you seriously think the play of our corners is our problem in defense? Walton has played really well all year and Swilling seems to be plying well too. Both of them especially in man coverage.I guess they’re elite too then. We are lucky to have all these elite DB’s
The press ought to get "difficult" immediately. As the Athletic reporter braced Swinney when he whined about Syracuse coverage when everybody and his 4th cousin could see Clemson was flatter than yesterday's beer, "We are not here to ask positive questions all the time." Coaches get paid a lot of money and a big part of their responsibility is dealing with the press. If Collins can't do that he probably should not be playing Notre Dame.Questions will begin to come about the "state of the program" soon, if not today. It will be very interesting to see how CGC responds. At some point, the honeymoon will end unless results on the field deliver with the rhetoric. Hopefully, that honeymoon won't end this year, because I do believe any coach deserves at least 2 years before the press starts getting difficult with its questioning, but in today's world, you never know.
It is the rare coach who enjoys that part of the job,,,,guys like Jimmy V. Coach Cremins maybe? At work, I never minded (and expected) tough questions from peers or superiors provided that I believed they knew as much or more than I did about the topic at hand. But questions from accounting, corporate types, sales or marketing....not so much. The press ought to get "difficult" immediately. Okay. Not a problem. You obviously haven't seen most of my posts. I have HUGE concerns with our HC. So, if the press asks hard questions his first year, I would be ok with it. I guess I spoke incorrectly in the previous post - although I do not believe our coach can keep harping on the transition, I have to admit that it is a little different than most. But, yes, I am ok with hard questions. I even thanked Kelly for his "timid" question on twitter.
