I feel our team does better if GTSwarm is in full meltdown mode leading into the game.
I can help with this, let's look at facts.

last week Syracuse had 382 yards rushing against Pitt. But you are saying Pitt defense sucks. This is true they rank 101 out of 133 teams on avg yards of opponent's yards per game 176 yards per game.

Well if that sucks and it does then I'm not sure there is a word to describe how bad we are on yards giving up we are 132 out of 133 teams avg points per game at 227.1 yards per game.
ire
Now I know what some are saying, but we are better than last year, oh contraire my friend. Last year our avg of rushing yards giving up per game was 196.3 yards per game. Now I'm not as good in math as most of y"all but I do believe 227 is more than 196.

Now I know some on here are saying not so fast my fat drunk friend, but we are better at home than the road at stopping run. Well let's look, at home we avg giving up 250 yards per game and on the road we avg 215.7. Again using the math I know the bigger number would be the 250.

Best I can see for this game is Syracuse 31 Tech 21

Ok Techster I did my best to start the meltdown so we can win now back to my beer ( Yes I know is only 7 am)

Tech WR’s catch the passes and we win. Singleton’s ability to burn anybody on a go-route isn’t in question. Just need to accept the bread, as it is transported to the basket.

I will being saying the same for UGA game. The stronger team can stuff the run all day, but it’s hard to stop an Olympic grade sprinter who can catch.

I hope to see more crossing routes mixed in with the straights. It’s easier for the corners to make up for speed by hitting and grabbing jersey in the middle of a straight route.

This week is going to be the biggest test of the year for Key and the Jackets. It will determine whether the team has just taken a modest step forward (exceeding the 4.5 win over-under predictions) or a big step forward by making it to a bowl game. Night game. TV. At home. Slightly favored. Everything on the line for Tech. Syracuse is also fighting for a bowl game. This is the biggest moment for the program since the Paul Johnson years. There is a lot of pressure. Too often of late we have faded under pressure. Here’s hoping we can play 60 minutes of good, hard, smart football against Syracuse without the “yips”!

There is the problem everyone just wants us to play good hard football for 60 minutes;

And that is the problem the game will last about 3 !/2 hours so as you can see 60 minutes is only a little over a quarter. Damn sometimes I think I'm the only smart one on here or the only drunk one that can figure things out. .

I believe the 60 minutes being referred to is the fact we play 4 15 minute quarters which equals 60 minutes (but I'm sure you know that and are just being sarcastic so I will reply in kind). If we are playing hard for 3 1/2 hours then we are wasting our energy during timeouts and halftime. Hey maybe that's why we have trouble in the 4th quarter....we are tired from playing hard during the timeouts!

There’s really only about 20 minutes of actual live-action gameplay in a football game, so let’s go out there and play hard for 20 minutes! What say you, @stech81

I think all that alcohol has served to increase the ability of what few cells you have remaining after a lifetime of serious drinking. I say this as a lifelong abstainer so take it with a healthy dose of skepticism.
