Well if you want to do the transitive thing, how does it make you feel that UNC beat Virginia by 20 and Duke by 30?

Duke didn't play with near the toughness and fire they played us. That said, I think UVA is actually a pretty decent team and Scott Stadium is known—for whatever reason—to be a tough place for visiting teams to play.
To win IMO we will need some guys to be healthy and ready to go who haven't been playing as much or as effectively. We also will have need to have worked really hard during our two weeks to get better.

The second half was
UVA made hay inside Duke's 40, while Duke flamed out. (Stats from GameOnPaper). The EPA translates to "Duke didn't get a ton of yards, but the yards they got didn't count for much; they blew the plays where they could have made some points".
UVA threw the ball 60% of the time. That's the kind of stat you see from the team that's behind (and that's how much Duke threw the ball). UVA did really well on the ground, but they're a passing team.
These are the big plays, and should give you a feel for what happened:
Looking at the "Most Important Plays", they're almost all Duke shooting themselves in the foot. Again, I'm not saying that UVA wasn't playing great and absolutely deserving of a huge win; just that Duke's mistakes were just massive.
Looking back at the Duke-GT game, they didn't screw up nearly as much. Possibly, Duke used their powder on us, and had nothing left for UVA.
This doesn't mean that UVA shouldn't be favored (they are). Just that Duke had a disaster of a game here.

On the contrary, that is precisely what I meant. We can and should score points, perhaps a lot of points but that is not the game we want. Ideally, we need to have a game in the twenties. Again, I say we do not want a track meet with both teams going up and down the field. Eventually, we will feel the pressure of trying to score on every possession to our detriment.Minor nit-pick. Usually, in a football game, a “track meet” is a game where both teams seem to score at will, and the game is a race to see which team has the most points on the board at the end of the game.
I don’t think that is what you meant.

Nothing I’ve seen from our pass defense gives me much optimism but then again sometimes we just randomly play well. I’m nervous about our lack of qb pressure and slacking secondary.
I just want our boys to show up and start punching the other team in the mouth.

During that game ,I stated it was good that UM was playing Texas and not Clemson or Tech. Because either of those would've picked up Miami and shaken them like rag dolls. Those were the two most physical teams on each LOS I saw all year.

I see many are looking at the box score and didn’t watch the actual game. One of the few times you’ll see Duke look like a poorly coached team. They dropped 3 INTs and untimely penalties that caused drives for UVA to continue
Many are also conflating UVA to being equal or similar to Pitt.
UVA appears to be not as physical as Pitt and they are fine with being one-dimensional team. The less thinking for our defense is a-okay with me.
Thought we had a good game plan vs them in 2019. If we don’t beat ourselves (turnovers or STs miscues), then i like our chances.
I expect our Running game to get going this game also

Baseball is the best sport to listen to I’ve come across. There isn’t much the other team does defensively (expect maybe the cubs deploying an outfield shift) and offensively it’s just a one on one against the batter and pitcher. Tennis is similarly good to listen to without seeing.
