Dawgs want to stop playing us to "fix their atrocious schedule"

So, drop ugag, replace with Mercer ( a team we might compete with and win) have 5000 fans show up. And this would make you feel good ???
It's not a question of us dropping them. It was their podcast where dropping us was mentioned. I'm sure no sane Tech fan would ever want to drop them. And I doubt many sane mutt fans would want that to happen either, assuming there actually are any sane mutt fans.

I wouldn’t want to initiate the drop but if they initiated it, I would be fine with it. I can’t stand that bunch. Let them go bark somewhere else.

This will never happen for political reasons but if it did I would much prefer to play Auburn and Tennessee on a rotating basis. Quite frankly, I am tired of the uneven playing field in recruiting, their unending cheating, the thuggery that abounds with both the players and the fans as well as their constant yapping about one thing or another. Drop them and be done with it.

Soooo you think all those things don't apply to Auburn and Tennessee? They most certainly do. Where do you think the misfit mutts end up after getting dismissed? Give it a few years of playing these teams, especially Tennessee, and you'll be hating them about as much.

Call the bluff, but throw 'em a curve: "While Georgia Tech does not wish to end the series, we are open to playing Georgia every other year. This would make it easier for us to play a varied a more diverse non-conference schedule, and also would open the possibility of scheduling Georgia Southern and Georgia State once in a while, hence retaining the in-state flavor, occasionally, of the opening in the schedule every two years."

I really like this idea.

This actually wouldn't be such a bad idea

What do you thing of the idea of playing UGAG every four years so that each class gets a game against UGAG? A lot of people up here in Tennessee want to make the Alabama series once every four years.

Would be better than doing away with the game entirely, but I still think every year or every other year is better.

I think the Tech/UGA rivalry is fun and pretty underrated, but I do think the idea of seeing more Tech vs Tennessee/Bama/Auburn/Florida/South Carolina/Ole Miss and UGA vs Clemson/FSU/Miami/Louisville/Virginia Tech is appetizing. In a perfect world we would keep the rivalry AND get those other match ups

If UGAG is eventually dropped I hope by that point the ACC moves to 9 conference games. That would solve a lot of the problems about not playing UGAG or only playing them every two or every four seasons.
