I didn't like this because I googled it or even get it...

....but man I want to google it.

There was a hugely massive party up there with crowds of people with no masks and no separation and at least 1 person was there while knowing they had COVID-19.

Except for maybe some locals, it's like a smorgasbord of people who believe they're invincible, in an overconfident way.

I'm not gonna Google it either and when NYC sees cases rise, we'll know why.

We had a guy come by to give a quote on fixing heaved concrete today. Was older and said he didn't need a mask because he talked to God and God said he was safe.

My mom always told me that God helps those who help themselves. RIP Mom.

SC cases down nearly 50% from yesterday. Probably a holiday travel blip. Would be nice if it holds, but I’m not counting on it. Charleston County down 70%.

SC cases on the coast will probably jump after celebrations on July 4. Cases may drop after Governor McMaster allowed cities to make mask wearing rules. A lot of people are still not wearing them.

IMHO business owners should be able to bar people not wearing facemasks from their stores.

With all the hoopla beginning about whether schools should re-open, it is surprising to me that none of the major media has spoken about the fact that many other countries have had schools open for quite a while already, without any disastrous consequences. Yes, exactly. What is important is the ICU number and capacity. Where I am, every new patient is tested - so there could be a lot of hospitalizations that are asymptomatic and irrelevant.

The first part of your post is bang on. The second part is panic porn - would you have visited there a couple months ago when their countries were absolutely ravaged? You don’t get numbers like they have now without having been there first - just ask NYC.

You missed the point entirely (and pointedly). The point is you can't go there because Americans are by and large banned. We're living in the here and now, and now we're banned. Wonder why that is?
