FWIW, imo BC would not pay enough to hire Beilein. They are the only school in the ACC paying their HC less than what Pastner makes. They also just hired a new FB HC (former asst at OSU).
I could see Wake going after Beilein if they can work the buyout with Manning enough that it doesn't completely hand tie them financially.

Where is Wake getting all this money? Do they have more deep-pocketed alums than us?

Do they have more? No. The school has an enrollment around 3,000.

Do they have a core group that has decided to go all in on Athletics? Yes.

It’s pitiful that Wake has raised more money than us. We have to change that.
