Maybe it’s the cold meds I’m taking but for some reason if our job opens in the near future, I’d be interested in Shaka. Maybe it’s the VCU runs that having me hanging on. I can honestly say I haven’t seen much of Texas b-ball lately.

For a variety of reasons, I'd be interested also.

Swartz has been busting his *** recruiting and has responsibility for the defense.

Wilkins is responsible for the offense. If we land Boogie or Watson and the kids made more shots this year, we're probably thrilled to have him.

I think the assistants can be upgraded, but I also think the narrative that they're so below par is overblown.

Folks stop at "NBA guy" on the checklist probably. To his credit, he seems to have some legit AAU connects plus now a year of bench experience. Better than "NBA guys" who just walk in thinking they don't need to do any legwork.

Speaking of NBA guys, twitter seems to think Sam Mitchell is on the shortlist at GaST.

Surprising. Must've gotten fed up with the NBA coaching process. Didn't want to get Ewing'd and end up a 45-year asst until not getting a shot at an NBA gig.
