Seton Hall was mentioned in the Fed case so it may not be a surprise that Willard didn't get the job.
Willard hired 'Tiny' Morton as an asst coach to get Isiah Whitehead who allegedly received payments from the Andy Miller agency.

Also on St. John's. It sort of sounds like AL and Johnson. It's hard to get coaches to just leave without any money - if St. John's really wants him gone they need to negotiate behind closed doors for some level of buyout lower than what is in the contract like AL did with Johnson.

2 more instance of NBA guys not really working out in college basketball. College basketball is a very different coaching environment than the NBA and i think it is hard for alot of NBA coaches to adapt. Will be interesting to see how Stackhouse does at Vandy. What is most important and how you have to spend your time is really different.

That's a big come down for their fans if he is the ultimate hire. They were expecting much bigger names based on the AD hiring Buzz last time.
Fans forget how hard it is to hire power conference coaches or the best mid major coaches.

Young was rumored for Wake if they fired Manning. His Wofford teams look good, but he has basically been there his whole career (30 yrs as an asst or the HC)

VT would be hiring one of the best mid major coaches though. Their fans should be thrilled.

Don't the Barnes rumors kinda smell like an agent using UCLA to get his client a raise?

And doesn't the Young to VPI hiring kinda smell like the hires made by BC and Clem a couple years ago? Good coaches but ...
