Wow, that's just weird.
Here's where I pretend dtm didn't beat me to the punch again.
ETA: Not sure I'd love coaching for that AD. Matta was known as a hard-worker who'd had recent success. To me, if he was this close to firing the guy, do it right after the season while good candidates were still out there. Timing and reason are just awful here.

I don't think so. I think Kerr's is worse. What happened to him is scary AF.
Does the OSt AD go down the former-Xavier coach rabbit hole again tho? Does Kelsey's alleged crazy AF wife allow him to go anywhere? Can I use "AF" in a sentence again in the same post? That be crazy ....

There have been rumors that OSU was the one job Mack would be very interested in taking and leaving Xavier. Bigger job, keeps him close to his roots.
I am interested to see if OSU makes a run at Donovan first. That wouldn't shock me.

That would be one press conference I would want to go to. OSU taking the guy who just got booted at Indiana. That is how ADs get lots of phone calls they don't really want to take.
However, given that he is Harbaugh's brother in law that would set up some really interesting Thanksgiving dinners
