I think that's where I keep ending up too.
This team is obviously still behind CBG and each other. While we obviously continue to have offensive problems we also continue to rebound well and play good to very good defense for long stretches of the game. Our APR and off court measurables are also significantly improved (on short order) for where we were when he came in.
Believe me, as an alum and someone who continues to donate to both the Institute AND GTAA I want to see wins too. At this point in our progression as a program I believe we are further along in the off court areas than I expected and obviously short of where I'd hoped we would be in recruiting and record.
I think it is easy to over look a lot of the good - and I think that is a mistake. We are a few pieces away from being a significantly better team. I know he has to recruit better and obviously we have to get our offensive sets into a better place, but I think Tadric will develop to be an offensive threat next season.
As many have said we need a shooter to emerge and keep defenses honest but to me the lesson from these close losses is we are closer to being good than seems apparent from the record.
Forgive the typos and brevity, this is a post from my phone.
