They are about to win the AAC. They have a good argument that they should be the G5 representative in the major bowl games.

Things could get super duper weird if Iowa somehow beat Michigan and FSU lost which could maybe... open the door for georgia because I'm not really sure what would happen at that point. You'd have to pick between 12-1 georgia, 12-1 michigan, and 11-1 OSU

it's Iowa though so they would have to probably hold michigan to 0 to win 2-0

yeah I agree which means it would come down to georgia and ohio state and idk which one they would pick but I feel like the committee would probably put in georgia so they're technically not 100% out. just like ≥ 99.99% out. it wouldn't be the biggest upset in CFB history but I wouldn't bet on it

Sure did. The Haynes King touchdown play. I told all my Mutt friends that they were screwed if Milroe decided to run tonight after seeing what Haynes did to them.

It's 12 teams next year, so all of the teams who still had a chance to make the playoffs this year going into the conference championship games will be in next year.

I don't think any worthy team is going to be left out, unless it's FSU if they go undefeated. But I don't think that will happen.

The CFP will be 12 teams next year. Bottom 8 all play each other, then winners play the top 4.
