Hey, to run up the count you need to get to 2 strikes ...... Clark had given up one lousy hit in 3.0 IP and no walks. Then gave up 5 straight hits B4.

But agree that it was an unreal offensive performance. And so smooth and continuous, it shows the potential we have.

Miami threw 209 pitches on Friday night. Excellent.

No errors! A bunch of great defensive plays, especially Waddell in the first to get the second out. With out that, it would have been a lot of different inning / game. Defense wins games, (some games aren't winnable by the defense but many which are close are winnable). Malloy had a play ruled as an error in the first but ruling was changed. I went back and watched it and it could have been an error. But would have taken a great play to get the runner at first. But I'll take 6 rbis and a beautiful play later in the game as recompense.

As @GTNavyNuke said in one of these threads, given our horrid record at home this year, and the way we seem to play on the road, we may be better off as a high #2 seed playing somewhere else.

With as tightly as the middle of the conference is bunched, it wouldn’t be that outlandish for Pitt to finish 7/8th in the ACC. After dodging Louisville.
