Hard to win that way. OuchFrom what I heard, Pyron was only 70% during the ND game and 40% in the VT game.

Philo should have started against VT if trueFrom what I heard, Pyron was only 70% during the ND game and 40% in the VT game.

I'll be surprised if 2 things don't happen:
1. Bobo is not fired
2. We keep our O coordinator if Bobo is fired
I like Buster, but if UGA wants him and pays him, we will lose him. I know Bobo is Kirby's friend, but that will not be much of a factor. UGA fans rightfully blame Bobo for their season woes this year, and Kirby is currently immune to criticism, so he will only solidify his standing with the faithful gaggers by making the move. I'm sure he will make sure Bobo is taken care of financially - a very soft landing.
At end of year i really like how he changed the offense for philo as injuries made him last manstanding. Philo is good at scramble on pass rush, but not as good a runner as king.Faulkner is staying at Tech.
Boobo is still at UGA as far as I know.Faulkner is staying at Tech.
Boobo is still at UGA as far as I know.
I hope you are correct, but the job he is being debated to fulfill in this thread is not even open. It’s all fantasy at this point.Faulkner was passed over for the job for Bobo. Buster wasn’t a graduate assistant with zero offensive coordinator experience prior to being an analyst. Kirby hired his buddy and Buster loves working with Key. Faulkner will stay at Tech until he gets a head job
UGA fans are morons. Bobo isn’t getting fired and Buster isn’t leaving on year 3 of this rebuild with the best offense possibly in the country..
After this year I believe Buster gets a legit head coaching offer and will most likely take it as his son is a rising senior at North Oconee.
Yeah, talk about gold colored glasses. Bless your heart @Eli. I hope you’re right. You had me until best offense in the country. Facts sir, just the facts.
What season is not silly for the way mutt fans talk and act? Too many GT fans pay far too much attention to the continuous drivel from mutt fans, and SEC fans in general. Just look at what mutt fans say, and decide whether it actually has any truth to it. Before the CFP game, I heard them saying that Beck being out was the best thing for their offense and they were definitely going to win since Stockton should have been playing all season. After the game, I heard them say that they would have won the game if Beck had been available. They are just delusional and say whatever makes them feel good regardless of truth, and regardless of what they said not a day previous. Yet too many GT fans fall for their boisterous declarations from fantasy land. We’re in the silly season
I think getting rid of Mark Richt has convinced them that any time you get rid of a winning coach you can replace him with a more winning coach. Spoiled fans think elite status is perpetual and, if not, someone is to blame.UGA was a top 10 program this season, at some points ranked #1. In most of the ways you’d measure it, they have a top 10 offense. They lost some of their best offensive players last season, and lost their starting QB prior to the CFP game.
This is not a situation where UGA had the number 1 defense propping up a weak offense. If anything, their offense is better than their defense. But they’re both great.
UGA fans are complaining because they didn’t win the title this year. Unless they’re planning to replace Bobo with Kiffin, they aren’t making a major upgrade in their offense (and really not even in that case).
The #1 offense this year was Miami, and Cam Ward was the reason—not the OC. Oregon was second, with a fifth year QB.
There’s no good reason for Smart to fire Bobo.
What they need is a star offensive player.
We’re in the silly season
I mostly agree, except for the bolded - no reason to look at what they are saying. Anyone who has owned one knows dogs are gonna bark, and 99.9% of the time its about nothing. What season is not silly for the way mutt fans talk and act? And yet, many GT fans absolutely believe that Faulkner is going to immediately pack up and go to Athens as soon as Kirby snaps his fingers. They believe that because mutt fans are barking it at them.I mostly agree, except for the bolded - no reason to look at what they are saying. Yep. I had a mutt fan tell me, right after the ND game ended after having just watched the whole game, that all u(sic)ga had to do to have won the game was run the ball. Uga ran the ball 29 times for 62 yards averaging only 2 yards per carry over the course of the game. Going off memory, I think they had approximately 10 rushing yards in the whole first half. Running the ball more was certainly not all they needed to do to have won that game. What season is not silly for the way mutt fans talk and act? Kelly was talking about it after the VT game. You can go back to his YouTube channel and listen for yourself.Who told you that?
The 70 % to 40% in ND makes the point - once qb gets a slight injury he will be hampered to the pojnt he will be further injured.
I know these assignments of percentages to injuries are subjective and somewhat meaningless, but I have a hard time believing anyone would play or be allowed to play if they were truly 40%. To me that implies that they are closer to zero functionality than full functionality, and that seems like a recipe for disaster. Not only would it seem that almost anyone would be able to perform better, but it also seems that the chance of significant additional injury would be very high. So, I don’t think anyone is playing at 40 percent. If they are, some stupid decisions have been made.Kelly was talking about it after the VT game.
Did you see Zach try to run in the VT game? He took 2 steps and was tackled. He was pretty much hobbled in that game.I know these assignments of percentages to injuries are subjective and somewhat meaningless, but I have a hard time believing anyone would play or be allowed to play if they were truly 40%. Thanks. Probably mid seek after doc looks at team .Kelly was talking about it after the VT game. You can go back to his YouTube channel and listen for yourself.
Not my favorite coverage of GT, but he is connected with the coaching staff. Those numbers reportedly came from a coach. Take it for what it is.
