I’ve come to the conclusion that a healthy, practicing Ga Tech team was a top 15 team this year.
Yup. Everyone comes back and we should start top 10/15 pre season. Potential higher.
Seeing UCLA get to the final 4 hopefully opens their eyes to the potential they have next season. I still think had we had Moses we’d be there this year.

If UCLA beats Gonzaga, the Pac-12 will have the largest NCAA tournament hall in terms of $$ for the conference in history beating the ACC in 2016. They won't touch our record for units, but the units are worth like $100k more than they used to be or something like that.

I am happy for them. It wasn't but just a couple years ago when only 2 Pac-12 teams even got invites. Hopefully the committee learns that no matter what you think about conferences, you always need some minimum appropriate balance among them in the tournament.

Conferences like the ACC that were supposed to be mediocre kind of got where we should. The Pac12 absolutely made themselves gobs of money. The Big Ten should have had almost 30 units, but ended up with 17 - they lost a lot of money if they just would have held seed and not even upset anybody. If all the Big Ten teams had gone straight seed in their outcomes, they would have made about $60 million, but instead made $34 million. 😬

Friend of mine is looking like a genius if UCLA wins this game. He did an ESPN bracket challenge and picked Michigan St to go to the Final 4 since he’s a Spartan fan. The thing with that is, you take a team from the play in game to advance it doesn’t let you just chose one of the teams. It’s a combination of both from that game. So by taking MSU he technically still has UCLA in the Final 4 lol.
Proof that dumb luck can sometimes go a loooonnnngggg way ;)
